For over five decades, The Bay Christian School has been a light in the Bay Point community—faithfully serving families, loving students, and preparing young hearts for a life anchored in faith and lived out in love.
Founded with a mission to provide Christ-centred education to the children of the East Bay, our school began as a vision to serve and uplift the families of Bay Point.
What started as a small, committed school has grown into a vibrant learning community known for academic excellence, nurturing relationships, and spiritual formation.
We chose to plant our roots in Bay Point because we believe in this community—its beauty, diversity, and potential. Our heart has always been to walk alongside families, empowering children to grow in wisdom, character, and purpose.

At BCS, our mission is to provide a nurturing, Christ-centered education for children in preschool through 8th grade, rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. Through our partnerships with Compassion International and The Bay Compassion, students learn to serve others both globally and locally. Each class sponsors a child overseas—writing letters and fundraising to build empathy and global awareness—while local outreach efforts, like assembling care packages and participating in community events, help students put compassion into action right here at home.
