PARENT PORTAL

This Week at BCS

Weekly Note from Nat

First Announcement:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Bay Christian School! For 25 years, BCS has been my home, and I’ve been blessed to serve as principal for the past five. My passion is to help students discover their God-given gifts and abilities, while growing not only academically, but also in faith, character, and confidence. I maintain an open-door policy because I believe that families and schools work best in partnership, so please do not hesitate to stop by for a chat! Thank you for entrusting us with your precious children. We are honored to be part of their journey.

-Natalie Charrette, Principal

Volunteer Opportunities

We deeply value our parent volunteers. Your time, energy, and presence help shape the heart of our school community. Below are opportunities to get involved throughout the year

Make a lasting impact by helping young readers thrive. Volunteer on Mondays/Fridays from 1:00–2:00 PM or Tuesdays/Thursdays from 9:00–10:00 AM at BCS, or 9:30–11:30 AM at Bel Air Elementary. Contact brielle@thebaycompassion.org to learn more.

Western Day (October)

Help bring the Wild West to life for our all-school fall celebration. Volunteers assist with themed games, decorations, and classroom activities.

Thanksgiving Feast (November)

Join us in preparing, serving, and celebrating during our all-school Thanksgiving meal—a special time to reflect and give thanks together.

Fun Run Fundraiser (October)

Cheer on students and help run this exciting event. Volunteers are needed for water stations, bounce houses, lap tracking, games, face painting, and food tables.

BCS Olympics (April)

Support our school-wide field day and athletic competitions. Volunteers help manage stations, keep score, and encourage students in a day of fun and friendly competition.

Career Week (Spring)

Share your career with our Kinder and 4th grade students during Career Week. Their learning culminates in the Hopes and Dreams Museum, a celebration of their future aspirations.
